- Course Objectives:
On completion of the course the student teacher will be able to
1.Grasp basics of assessment, such as formative and summative assessment,
evaluation and measurement, test, examination
2. becomes proficient in evaluation , assessment , measurement and tests
3. become exposed to different kinds of tasks ,tools and techniques and forms of
assessment that aid student learning
4. Become proficient in administrating, scoring and interpreting professionally
developed and teachers made assessment procedures.
5. Understand the assessment of students with disabilities.
6. Get trained in IT- based modes of assessment - 7. Acquire conceptual understanding about assessment
8.Get introduced different measures of assessment
9.Gain a critical understanding of issues in assessment and evaluation

The course covers key concepts such as evaluation, measurement, testing, and examination, helping student-teachers become proficient in designing and implementing various forms of assessments. Emphasis is placed on the use of different assessment tools, techniques, and tasks that enhance the learning experience. Furthermore, the course provides insights into administering, scoring, and interpreting both professionally developed and teacher-made assessments.
